Basketball Player Registration to open 08/30 (updated)

Our player registration for the 2024-2025 basketball season will open at 10:00AM on 08/30.

Registration for coaches for the basketball season is now open. If you plan to be a head coach (or assistant coach), please log into your account now, scroll down and click “Register a Volunteer”. And then complete. This will help us determine our capacity needs before we open the player registration. It will also help speed up the registration process when parents register their players (on 08/30).

For the upcoming basketball season, we have a few changes to share:
1. We are offering some additional divisions this year, notably to offer open (travel) divisions for 9/10YO, 11/12YO and 13/14YO.
2. For those divisions where we offer two sub-divisions within the division such as 3rd Grade REC Boys North and 3rd Grade REC Boys South, we do plan to handle the grouping of teams differently. Our intent is to improve pairing more like teams based on skill in a subdivision versus making that decision based and limited to how they were formed (as we did last year).
3. We are expecting to add an additional gym for practices.
4. We have upgraded our background check service, which is required to be completed every three years by all of our volunteers.

Our program description for the basketball season will be posted prior to 08/28.
