SPRING 2024 Travel (Open Division) Baseball
As the service provider of baseball and softball for the city of Brentwood, 75% of our 12YO & Younger players must reside in the city of Brentwood, while 60% of our 13YO & Older players must reside in the city of Brentwood. 85% of our players must reside in Williamson County. 

As such, we reserve the right to decline any team registering that does not meet our resident requirements.

We are required to pay the City of Brentwood Parks & Recreation Department a $25 fee per player that resides outside the city of Brentwood and pay an additional $10 fee for players outside Williamson County. 

These nonresident fees are not included in the registration amount and are required to be paid by the participant
registering (head coach).

Nonresident fees are collected every season - spring, then again in the fall. No (higher) rates go into effect after the spring 2024 season.

The spring season starts 02/17 and ends 06/30.

1. Baseball Age Divisions We Offer Options For
Divisions are offered for 8YO, 9YO, 10YO, 11YO, 12YO players. 7YO teams cannot play in the 8YO division. Divisions are based on the player’s age as of 05/01/24, but grade exceptions are allowed. 

2. Team Capacity
We will have a limited number of team spots for our spring season. Teams will have until 12/15/23 to register their team.

4. The 5-Step registration process
(1) Complete the registration online 
(2) Complete the team roster
(3) All coaches to complete a volunteer form 
(4) All coaches submit a background check (required every 3 years) 
(5) Pay registration balance (by check or credit card) - for registration fees, nonresident fees & any required background checks.

Step #1 – Complete online registration
A. Log into your account at 
Note: If you do not have a participant record for yourself (as head coach), click “add player”. Once complete… 
B. Select Programs Available to the right of your name. Complete registration questions. Complete all the way through the payment screen. 
Note: We will collect $100 in the process, which will be credited when determining final costs.

Step #2 – Complete team roster form
A. Download the roster form – click here
B. Complete the blue sections of the roster form and email back in Excel format to [email protected].
C. Brentwood Ball Club will complete all the yellow sections of the form and return the ‘final’ roster form back to the head coach.
D. The head coach will then get parent initials to that “final roster form’ (for agreement to the waivers on the roster form).
E. Once parent initials (pen to paper) are collected, the head coach to scan and email the roster back to [email protected].
Note1: Parent initials for the spring 2024 season to the team roster are not required to be collected again if the player is on the same team in the fall 2024 (that they were for the spring) season. 
Note2: Cost to add any player after Dec 15 is $200 per player.  No player can be added after Feb 15.

Step #3 – Completing the coach volunteer form
A. When the head coach completes the registration process in step #1, they will create the volunteer form for themselves as the head coach. 
B. For each assistant coach, the head coach will share the offline volunteer form – click here. All assistant coaches will individually complete (print, sign/initial, scan) and then the head coach will email all of the forms as a group back to [email protected].  
Note:  The completed volunteer form by coach will be good for all of 2024, if coaching on a travel team.

Step #4 – Submitting background checks
A. All coaches (head and assistant) will submit to a background check – click here.
Note1: These are required every 3 years so some submissions may be discarded.
Note2: Travel teams are financially responsible for any background checks required ($11 each).

Step #5 – Complete payment
A. Once steps #1,2,3,4 are completed, we will identify the remaining amount due. Click here for price sheet.
B. Payment options are to pay by check, or have the remaining balance added to your online account for payment by credit card. If by credit card, a processing fee for credit card use, which is ~3.4% of the amount due, will apply.

5. Refunds
We do not provide any refunds to travel player registration. The parent will work with the head coach for any fee coverage. Teams are not refunded for weather impacted games. And it is the head coach's responsibility to make their team available for a makeup game during the regular season (all makeup games must occur prior to the end of season tournament). Teams completing step #1 but not the remaining steps will not be refunded for their deposit.
