Basketball - Explaining the game schedules

Our game schedules were uploaded to Team Central last night. If you did not receive a notification for this, please check your spam folder.

The entire 'regular season' schedule from 12/03 to 02/04 was completed for the divisions of 7/8YO Girls, 9/10YO Girls and 13/14YO Boys. These age divisions are expected to start their single elimination tournament on Sunday, 02/05.

The schedule of the first three games for the 5/6YO coed division has been posted. The remaining five games for this division on 01/07, 01/14, 01/21, 01/28 and 02/04 will be determined and posted around 12/19. The game schedule so far has been set based on ages within the age group so we would like to see those results to see if matchups for the season are correct. The last day of games for this division will occur on Saturday, 02/04. On that day, head coaches will hand out the individual participation trophies we will supply. Trophies will have the player's name on them.

Like the 5/6YO division, the schedule of the first three games for the 7/8YO Boys, 9/10YO Boys and 11/12YO Boys divisions has been posted. The entire regular season schedule has been posted for the 15/18YO Boys. Because we have an odd number of teams for this division, we expect to start the tournament for this group on Saturday, 02/04. For each weekend of games, one of the five teams will play a second game.

The schedule for the 11/12YO Girls division has been posted. Since there are only two teams in this division, this is our only age division that will play games against non-Brentwood teams. This division will also be our only participants in the county wide end of season tournament. It will start after 02/05.

The tournament brackets and schedule across all divisions won't be available until the latter half of January.
