These RULES apply for the following divisions:
9/10YO Girls, 3rd Grade Boys, 4th Grade Boys, 5th Grade Boys, 11/12YO Boys, 13/14YO Boys
LEAGUE REGULATIONS
- Each team will practice one hour (60 minutes) a week with the option of up to two additional hours’ worth of practice prior to their first game. After their first game, each team may practice only one hour (60 minutes) per week. PENALTY: Any team in violation of this restriction must forfeit all games and will be ineligible to participate in the post-season tournament
- No new players may be added to the team roster after the fourth Saturday without approval from the Board. No players will be allowed to be added to any team after the seventh Saturday, regardless of the number of players currently active on the team. NOTE: New residents may be added to a team with 6 or fewer players up until the 7th week.
- Parents may be required to supply a birth certificate to validate their player’s age or may be required to supply a school document to validate their player’s current grade.
TEAM / GAME REGULATIONS
- Each team brings their own balls to warm up prior to a game.
- The home team wears the white side of the player shirts.
- Only the Head Coach and one Assistant Coach will be allowed on the team bench during a game.
- If a player on the floor becomes injured during a play and a foul is called and they cannot shoot the free throw; the substitute player must come in and shoot the free throw. If no substitute is available, then the coach may select a player on the court to shoot the free throws.
UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT
2 Techs by player or coach in a game = ejection from game/gym
2 Techs by player or coach in a season = suspension from game/gym for next game
3 Techs by player or coach in a season = suspension from games/gyms for remainder of the season
3 Techs by team in a game = forfeit or current game & suspension from game/gym for next game
3 Techs by team in a season = team suspension from game/gym for next game
Parent ejection = current & next game/gym removal and the head coach ejected for the game
- Any player participating in a violent act shall receive a 2-game suspension on the first offense and permanent dismissal from the league on the second offense. A technical foul will be called on the player.
- Any player or coach under the influence of alcohol or any other illegal drug, participating in any game or practice, shall be dismissed from the league immediately.
- Any player attempting to dunk or grab on to the rim will automatically receive a technical foul and be ejected from the game and will not be allowed to play for the remainder of the game.
PLAYER PARTICIPATION
- It is recommended that each player plays for a minimum of 15 minutes per game. We will establish a minimum playing time amount prior to games starting.
MISCELLANEOUS
- These divisions will participate in a single elimination tournament starting 02/08/26.
