Brentwood Bulls Rising 8YO Team

We are adding a third Brentwood Bulls baseball travel team, this one for rising 8YOs (our first at this age). Rising 8YOs mean the player cannot turn 9 before May 1, 2023 (or must be in second grade). Below are the details to include upcoming tryouts.

Our 8YO Brentwood Bulls team will be managed by former First Team All-American Vandyboy and Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Famer, Warner Jones. Assistant coaches include other former Vandyboys, Worth Scott and Tony Mansolino (who works with the team during the offseason after coaching third base for the Baltimore Orioles).

The Bulls program will utilize the practice styles and mental key points that the coaches learned while playing for coach Tim Corbin at Vanderbilt. The team will practice and play games at Civitan Park and Crockett Park.

The Bulls are looking for a few players to round out the team in preparation for the Spring 2023 Season. The team will host an open tryout at 5:00PM on Saturday, October 1st and a second tryout at 6PM on Wednesday, October 5th. The location of each tryout will be announced in the coming days and will either be at the new turf fields at Crockett Park or Civitan Ballfield #3.
