Gym Supervisors needed

Basketball registration will open at 7:00PM on 09/20.

For our upcoming basketball season, we need “gym supervisors”. Practice coverage rates are $15/hour and game coverage rates are $17.50/hour. Our supervisors must be at least 18 years of age.

The links section of our website has a Basketball Schedule Draft. That document notes all the possible dates we could practice and play games by gym. Any time we use a gym, we have to have a gym supervisor working. We will need gym supervisors across the gyms of Crockett Elementary, Lipscomb Elementary, Edmondson Elementary and Jordan Elementary. Many of our needs at Edmondson and Lipscomb will be covered by returning workers but will still need a few dates covered at those gyms.

Responsibilities of gym supervisors include opening/closing the gym, supervising visitors in the gym, ensuring no one is entering other sections of the school, managing any incidents, and ensuring teams stop/start at their scheduled time. Please note that our gym supervisors often bring a laptop or something to keep them occupied during times of minimal activity.
