Our latest COVID-19 measures are as follows:
Every player, coach and official must complete the TN Pledge
Guidelines Acknowledgement form. This was a part of the registration process for
the Fall season so every player registering has completed.
Requirements for anyone (parent, player, relative, friend) planning to
attend a game or practice must answer NO to all of the below questions:
1. Have you been in close contact
with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14- days? (this does not apply to
medical personnel, first responders, or others who encounter COVID-19 as part
of their professional or care giving duties while wearing appropriate PPE)
2. Are you experiencing a cough,
shortness of breath, or sore throat?
3. Have you had a fever in the last
48 hours?
4. Have you had any new loss of
taste or smell?
5. Have you had vomiting or
diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
If anyone answers Yes to any of the
five questions, please do not enter the parks.
Because symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure, if a player, coach or parent on a team does test positive and there has been any interaction with the team regardless of how seemingly insignificant, the entire team will be removed for 14 days. If there has been no recent interaction, only the individual will be removed for 14 days. Please let us know when this occurs.
We ask EVERYONE to check your temperature before arriving at
the park.
Social distancing must apply in every aspect possible.
Wear masks where possible. All coaches, umpires and workers are to have a mask
in their possession for any instance that arises where 6’ distancing cannot
occur. We urge all parents to do the same. Players are not required to wear masks while playing but should take all the pre-cautions everyone else should through distancing.
Usage of the dugouts is allowed but we need coach and parent
help to keep distancing in the dugouts.
We would minimize interaction as much as possible where there are no handshake
lines after the game, no high fives, no team huddles, etc. We need your help
here!
Game times are spaced to allow
less traffic at each field.
We ask a pre-game check by Coaches to ensure each player has their own bat, cap and glove and to ensure no one
is sharing equipment, water, etc.
And pre-game check by Coaches to ensure parents are designated to assist with the social distancing of
players while the coaches are coaching the game.
Distancing, safety and prevention only occur with everyone's support.
