Registration Tips

We wanted to share some tips for registering based on questions so far:

When creating a volunteer record, there is now a different step. After registering your player, the system advances to the Volunteer screen where if someone is going to coach, they click to “Select” Head Coach or Assistant Coach. The different step now is once you click “Select”, you have another click above that box to select who exactly is coaching. After that click, you can advance to the next screen. If you have already registered your player and want to create a volunteer record to coach, once you log in, just click the Volunteer tab and proceed from there.

Softball did not advance the ages this fall like we typically do. The reason this is occurring is because the spring season did not occur and we would want players to play their intended spring (2020) age division before moving up. If your player is above average though, you may want to consider having them play to the older age because we will move to the next age division during the spring (2021) season. We are expecting most players to remain at their spring (2020) age division.

While most of our Baseball players are expected to move to the next age division for the fall season, we have left the option for those that did not play this June/July season or any player that needs more time in their current division before moving up to have the option to stay at their spring (2020) season. In the spring (2021), this will not be an option. While this is totally a parent decision, we are glad to give our opinion if needed.

For differences in the different age divisions for baseball, 4/5YO is for our youngest age division and is entry level. It is one base at a time. At 6YO, we do allow players to take an extra base for a ball hit to the outfield. The difference for 7YO vs 8YO, both divisions get 5 pitches but 7YO can get up to 5 swings whereas 8YO gets 3 swings. Check out the Rules of Play on our website as we will use the same rules in the fall season that we are currently using in the June/July season.

If you register your player to a division and then decide later you want your player moved to a different division, send us an email and we will transfer your player.

If you want to change your registration requests (i.e. teammate, coach, etc.) after you register, you can log in any time, click the crayon icon to the right of your player’s name and make your edits. Once complete, click Save. Clicking Save does not take you to another screen but does save your changes. If you make a change to your registration entries after mid-July for softball and after July for baseball, also send us an email. We start finalizing uniform plans around those dates.
