When our
parks are reopened on 06/06, there are several measures to improve safety
of everyone at the park. This includes, but are not be limited to:
Every player, coach and official must complete the TN Pledge Guidelines Acknowledgement form - see the links section of our website.
Coaches, athletes and officials will be screened daily upon arrival.
We ask EVERYONE to check your temperature before arriving at the park.
Social distancing
would apply in every aspect possible.
Wear masks where possible.
Usage of the dugouts will be limited to the coaches storing game equipment.
Catching equipment
will only be used for kid pitch, not coach pitch.
Umpires will
be no closer than 6’ from any participants.
No players could
share the catcher’s equipment as we would ensure an extra set of gear is
provided per team.
No sunflower seed spitting or gum chewing should occur.
The concession stand will not be open. Individuals should bring their own personal beverages to the park.
We would minimize
interaction as much as possible where there are no handshake lines after the
game, no high fives, no team huddles, etc.
Our youngest ages
where distancing would be most challenging would have less players on each team
than previously planned.
Game times will be
spaced more apart to allow less traffic at each field.
A pre-game check by Coaches would occur
to ensure each player has their own bat, cap and glove and to ensure no one is
sharing equipment, water, etc.
And pre-game check by Coaches would
occur to ensure parents are designated to assist with the social distancing of
players while the coaches are coaching the game.
Field monitors will be in place to
ensure all requirements are being followed.
