Parents,
Below is an update and plans this weekend on the basketball program:
- Player
drafts for the 9/10YO Boys Rec and 11/12YO Boys Rec were completed
Thursday night. Head coaches had the next 24 hours or so to complete any
trades. Contact info to head coaches will be provided Saturday around
noon. Head coaches are unlikely to contact parents until a practice
schedule is provided.
- Player
drafts with coaches for the 7/8YO Boys Rec will occur this morning.
Upon completion of the draft, head coaches will have 24 hours to
complete any trades. Contact info will be provided Sunday around 3:00PM.
- Preliminary
rosters have been sent to head coaches for 5/6YO Girls, 7/8YO Girls and
9/10YO Girls. We expect to have those rosters set by mid day Sunday.
- Preliminary
rosters will be sent Saturday for 5/6YO Boys and 13/14YO Boys. The
5/6YO rosters are always tricky because of the conflicting requests.
- While
most of our open division head coaches already have the contact info
for their team, we will send that info to our Open Division head coaches
Saturday afternoon.
- As
practices are to start next weekend, we continue to work through a first
weekend schedule and while delayed due to the amount of teams and some
rosters needing to be set before determining the best gym for a head
coach, we will have the schedule out later today to head coaches for
next weekend. This may include a few spots on Friday, 11/1.
