This March marks a major milestone for BuildABLE Academy as we launch our first hands-on workshops designed to introduce students to the skilled trades.
Participants ages 6–18+ will take part in project-based learning experiences, exploring different trades in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. The excitement is already strong—our first student’s family is driving 385 miles from Arkansas to attend the inaugural workshop.
Since BuildABLE Academy was announced at Vanderbilt University in November 2025 and introduced nationally on Mike Rowe’s The Way I Heard It podcast, individuals from 15 states have reached out about bringing BuildABLE to their communities, including Texas, Ohio, Arkansas, North Carolina, Arizona, California, and Georgia.
