Head Coaches:
Game day is Saturday. All 134 Brentwood teams are playing.
Games last most of the scheduled period so no need to arrive early. Maybe 10-15 minutes before your scheduled start.
We will provide all game balls. Teams have to provide their own warmup balls. Here is the link to show gym entrances in Brentwood.
At Scales and Crockett, wristbands are available at the scorer's table. These are intended for 1st grade and younger divisions. All uniform shirts have the player's number on the front and back so wristbands may not be needed.
The home team is to provide an adult scorebook keeper for the game. The adult will sit at the scorer's table. They keep the score for both teams. They cannot coach or cheer, but still a good seat to watch a game. They will mark player points, player fouls, team fouls (teams shoot 1x1 free throws starting at 7 fouls per half). We will provide the book. All player names will be in the book. You will need to mark their uniform shirt numbers in the book. Click here for a visual of how to keep the scorebook.
No food is allowed in the gym. If you must bring post-game treats, these are to occur outside the gym.
Only two non-players are allowed on each bench.
If a parent were to get ejected, that ejects the head coach for the game. So please help us avoid that.
Goals will be set to start the day at the height for the first game. Only one game - last one at Lipscomb - requires a height change.
We will add tape for the shorter foul lines Friday night in doing our gym setup. This applies to all gyms except BMS and the ISC.
Coaches are not allowed on the court during games except for the Pre-K/Kindergarten divisions. Those can be further out on the sideline in front of their bench. But, not in the middle of the court.
Each gym will have a supervisor.
