This is our first all registered players update to all divisions since 09/22. That last email can be found in the News section of our website. A few updates to share for our upcoming basketball season:

We ended up being short four head coaches (two for 3rd Grade Boys, one for 4th Grade Boys and one for 11/12YO Girls). For each head coach we are short, that results in ~9 players not being placed. In the past month, we have sent several emails to the divisions we were needing head coaches for. Those are not in the News section. We have a lot of coaches now and really appreciate all our volunteers and parents.

We have adjusted our practice schedule to be set by 10/15. It was previously planned for 10/10, but that schedule and roster setting are closely aligned and need to occur together. Practices will continue to start the first weekend in November. Games will continue to start on the first weekend of December.

Within the next week, we will have separate emails out on scoreboard operators, adult scorekeepers, gym supervisors and team sponsors.

We do expect to have a new scoreboard at Scales Elementary before games start. Like other items, the scoreboards today cost a lot more than when we last purchased one at Edmondson Elementary last year.
