Spring Season Updates

Hi parents and coaches,
We wanted to share a few updates for spring baseball and softball. Several activities are occurring at this time. As a reminder, we keep a list of the activities and their timing under the Key Dates link on our website.

Due February 8 – Almost all of our Head Coaches have submitted their desired practice times. We will finalize the practice schedule on February 8 and send it to our head coaches that evening. The first practices for 12YO & Younger baseball and all of softball will start February 18. Practices for 13-18YO baseball is expected to start by March 3.

Due February 12 – We have been working on rec baseball and softball rosters. We are on schedule to have the last ones out by the due date. Head coaches that have received final rosters (that includes contact info) are likely waiting on the practice schedule before reaching out to parents.

Due February 13 – The baseball game schedule for 12YO & Younger baseball and for 5/6YO softball will be ready on February 13 and sent to head coaches that evening. It will likely take a few days to upload into our system before you can see it in Team Central.

Due February 28 – Williamson County Park & Rec (WCPR) will create the softball game schedule for our remaining divisions (7/8YO, 9/10YO, 11/13YO). We would expect that to be ready in late February.

Due March 3 – The 13/14YO, 15/16YO and 17/18YO division game schedules will be complete in early March as we work with another league to set the schedule.

We do provide rec baseball and softball teams with a full uniform. The handout dates to head coaches for uniforms are pending.

Players provide their own bat, their own helmet and their own glove for the spring season. Our “shop day” at the Dick’s Sporting Goods location in Cool Springs will occur February 17-20. The 20% coupon can be used by anyone whether in our program or not.
