We have opened registration for our first “Worker Opportunities” for the spring season. This will be for our "Field Maintenance" needs at Civitan Park. Workers need to be 15 years of age no later than May 1. Our field maintenance workers will prepare our fields for game days, but they will also support non-game days. The work includes lining the fields for games, dragging the fields for practices and other maintenance work to maintain or improve the park.

Weekday game shifts have our workers arriving at Civitan Park by 4:00 and fields for games typically need to be complete/ready before or by 5:15. If interested, workers may have the opportunity to work longer during the week. Saturday game days start very early to get our fields ready by 8:30AM. On other days when we are not having games, there are other work activities.

Minimum hours of pay for working field maintenance at the park at any time is two hours. The rate of pay for this position is $12 per hour.

While games start in late March, there are work opportunities prior to that and of course, we will need to go through training in preparing our fields.
