To all our parents and volunteers, a few items for our first game day
tomorrow:
The detailed schedule we have in
place is intended to help for when to arrive and depart and minimize how many
are in the gym. Attendance by player is limited to no more than 4 from within
the same household and must be from the immediate family (mom, dad, brother,
sister).
We misspoke on the uniforms. The
shirts are reversible, the shorts are not. With a mesh material, intended to
make the uniform fabric lighter, the shorts may require a compression type short
underneath for some. We will resolve this in future seasons. For those
returning from last year, these are the exact same uniforms.
Our Team Volunteers (per team) will be
at the entry of the gyms (i.e. inside) like they have been doing for practices
and will do the same for games. The difference is we will have more people attending.
To be admitted, temperatures are checked, and the 5 questions are asked. See
our COVID safety link as needed. We did make a practice attendee change
effective 01/17.
Following the game, our scorekeepers
will wipe down the team benches (chairs) and our Team Volunteers will wipe down
the high traffic areas for the gym. This could include wiping down some areas
of the bleachers that may need it.
We will keep the cleaning supplies for
each gym at the scorer’s table. And, we will have a separate email to our Team Volunteers shortly that
will be posted in our News section later today.
