In consideration of the recent
developments of the coronavirus in Williamson County, we wanted to provide a
message on our program and parks.
While Civitan Park, Granny White
Park and Crockett Park remain open, we would ask everyone to follow the commonsense
prevention activities we see in the news and as it relates to youth sports – do
not share items that can transfer infectious diseases such as water bottles,
drinks, etc., wash your hands often and avoid contact to include high fives,
handshakes, etc.
The bathrooms at all three parks are
cleaned regularly. The city of Brentwood Park & Rec Department maintains
Granny White Park and Crockett Park. Our club maintains Civitan Park, in
conjunction with WCPR. We did checks yesterday across the groups on the
frequency.
We ask all of our participants (parents,
coaches and players) to stay home if sick and seek medical attention as needed.
We certainly defer to the experts on
prevention, treatment, etc. but wanted to share a few comments.
