To 7YO and 8YO Head Coaches,

1. Umps will host a head coach meeting at home plate 10 minutes prior to the game start of every game. Here are the items they will cover:

A. The visiting team is to supply an adult to work the scoreboard.

B. The home team is responsible to keep the official book. Both teams should have an adult keeping a book but we only require the home team.

C. Our umpires will check with each team after each half inning to make sure the scores are agreed to.

D. The umpires will check all bats. Any bat larger than 2-1/4" barrel is illegal unless it has the "USA Baseball" logo. Any use will result in an out. (We are seeing a lot of illegal bats)

E. All pitching coaches are to exit the field on the 1B side once a batted ball is put in place. They will return once the player pitcher has the ball, raised their hands and stopped the play. (The pitcher coaches are doing a pretty good job on this)

F. Bat slinging will result in a warning and each batter after that will be called out. (This is no fun to have to call)

Note1: No fielder can replace the pitcher in the circle to stop the play by entering the circle and raising their arms.

Note2: A fielder can stop the play when they are in front of the lead runner and their are no open bases between the lead runner and any other runners
